The Custom shop is selling one on Guns International. I believe they wanted $495.00 for the book. Hopefully this helps. It is a rare book not too often found for sell. I bought that, and Roger Rules book when they first came out. They are booth good books for the Model 70 Collector. Please take in mind that booth these books were printed well over 40 years ago. They are still relevant, but a lot of new knowledge on the Model 70 has been brought forward since.

I think some of these books have as large of a profit margin than the guns themselves.

Thanks Bo, but hoping to keep my arms and legs when I go to purchase. Some pretty crazy prices out there. I already picked up a first edition hard cover of Roger Rule’s book for half the price of the $495 Dean Whitaker book. Rule’s book is far superior to Whitaker’s (so I’ve heard), but would like to have both if the price is right. I’ll keep looking.

Yes, I would think that most would prefer Rules book. Whitakers book is not as common, and that is why it will be found priced at a premium.
