OfflineThe 72/72A bolt is unique to that model. Only the 69A/75 bolts are interchangeable with each other.

OfflineThe bolt handle was not the reason for the “A” in the model number (it was the feed system change) so there are post-war Model 72 rifles with swept handles but ALL Model 72A rifles should have the swept handle.
The complete bolts should be interchangeable with straight or swept handles. Make sure you check the headspace when swapping bolts.
