Jay these are really hard to find. I only have 2 that I can reload. The one company RCC that supposedly said they make them hasn’t come through the last few years. The older ones like I have are made from S&W 44 Special brass. The primer pocket is filled in with metal of some sort and a hole is offset for the installation of a 22 blank. You might be better off buying a repo firing pin and striker that could be modified to center fire.

Thanks Chuck! I really hate to tear down the Henry! I’m really leery of the old screws and twistin one off! Thanks for the info I have thought about trying to have someone make them!
I totally understand. Here is a picture of my Henry when I took it apart to replace a broken piece.

Well, my work space is actually my desk with a pad. I keep it neat and organized so I can put the pieces back together. I have some info somewhere that said this rifle had a sling but it disappeared before I found it. The paperwork also has a note, un-confirmed, what unit the individual served with in the Civil War.
