Need to replace a receiver on a circa 1900 1897 12 ga Takedown Trap shotgun. Gun has very little finish so amount of finish is not important. Bought it to shoot, hope to do that again someday. May consider bolt and slide if you have them. A dark checkered forend is on my wish list if you have one lying around.

Why not ask John Taylor if the crack in your rcvr can be welded? A long shot, but probably not as long as the odds of finding a replacement rcvr.

It’s worse than it looks, Clarence. Receiver so badly twisted I almost couldn’t get it apart. Firing pin wasn’t as free as it seemed, so carboned up I had to drive it out. A few things bent I didn’t expect.
