Hi,
Listed it on Gunsinternational the other day, completely slipped my mind to post it here.
Was not something I ever intended to sell, but life happens.
Beautiful, early rifle. Bought it from Burt on here maybe 2 years ago. He can also attest to how nice an example it is.

That gun was in my collection for over 30 years – it is absolutely correct and has an excellent bore. Model 53’s in 44 takedown have always been hard to find.
Yes, it is a fine fine 53 TD 44. If I had an income, I would not be selling it. But, because I decided to choose what does or does not go in my body, the Government decided to put my 18 years of service behind me. Same for the wife. F*** them.

I’m sorry it happened this way. My employer shares my views but it’s been a tough couple of years for folks who think for themselves. I can’t give you what this rifle is worth but you and your better half are in my prayers.
