For Sale is my Winchester 52D single shot .22 LR Target Rifle in a custom Prone / 3P stock. SN #107114D. This rifle was manufactured in 1962. The bolt is numbered to the rifle. There is also the following inscribed on the barrel with an electro pen: SDU5D K45090.
The barrel is a Model D Heavy Target barrel. It is 28″ long, 0.875″ at the muzzle and 1.062″ at the receiver. It has a recessed crown.
Also included with this rifle is a front palm rest, a butt hook, and a bipod stand.
The trigger is one of the most crisp and delightful I have ever used. The bolt is smooth and effortless.
The handgrip area of the custom stock is nicely stippled and provides a very comfortable and secure grip. The 3-way adjustable butt plate is a Freeland.
I used this rifle extensively as a training tool for High Power competition, and it served me extremely well.
Rifle is in 95%+ condition. Barrel has some small blemishes from 50+ years of use but retains its deep blue-black throughout. A few minor dings in the stock from use. Barrel interior is clean, shiny and has plenty of rifling. I thoroughly cleaned the rifle, scrubbing the barrel/lead after every shooting session.
You will need your own sights, sling and a handstop and that’s it.

This rifle can hold its own with almost any smallbore rifle in existence. Additional photos available on request.
