I’m looking at the above rifle and it appears to be mostly Winchester but I did notice that the firing pin has an “E” on it meaning Eddystone. I don’t want Remington parts on a Winchester. If I buy it I will take a better look at all of the parts but I know it will need a firing pin. Any parts or parts guns out there?

Any photos of the rifle? Does it still have its original blue finish or is it now parkerized?
Parts are still available for Model 1917 rifles.

Tom, from the pictures it looks blued. I talked to the seller and found out about the E on the firing pin. Without him taking the gun apart, which he did not want to do unless I bought it, the only thing he could find wrong is the firing pin.

I did not buy the gun. I did purchase a 1917 in August of this year. This one needs a high condition Winchester magazine follower.
