This is the second one of these I have owned. Ive shown pictures to Rick Hill previous President who found out about the 10 Special Order Carbines for the Silver mine in Az.  I have a link to the article Rick wrote a few years ago to send to anyone who is interested.  These are unique in that they have the rear sight moved forward to use the California full Buckhorn sight. Inorder to use that sight, the barrel stamping had to be moved forward of the barrel band.  Additionally, rather than having the normal carbine style butt plate, these use the curved rifle butt.  

This is a very nice gun with a fantastic bore. The  barrel and mag tube have most all the blue, The receiver is like many of that time with 50 % blue and some fading.
