Had two I was saving. Clarence got one and the other is going on my new to me M52 #1225. I still have a need for one more. I think gunsmiths took them off and installed the Lyman 17-A and threw the shark fin sights in their junk boxes. For a relatively common sight, they are extremely hard to find. Good luck. Big Larry

I have an old friend who has some sights in his junk. If you can post a picture of what you need I could look for it. I don’t know what these hens teeth look like. Don
It’s a high & thick (which is the thing that makes it such a good aiming point) blade sight. You can find good illustrations of it in factory catalogs from 1920 through 1963 (I think) when the Model 69A was discontinued; so that’s 350000+ 69s alone, plus 52s, maybe other models that used it. Where have they all gone?
Different heights maybe, but they came on the M52, M56, M57, 60-A Target, M69-A Target and M69-A Match, the elusive M69-A JTSS, certain M75’s. May be a few more I have forgotten at this point in time. It may have been an option for several models as well. You would think a lot of them would be floating around as many were changed out for globe sights and removed for sporterization. Today, they are very hard to find loose, and can be very expensive. Best to plug that hole with a Lyman 17-A. Big Larry
