Does this mount using the existing tang screws or longer ones are needed?

Hi Steve,

I honestly do not know the answer to your question since I do not own any of the SLR models.  Do the tang screws currently on your SLR rifle protrude to a lower tang like they do on the Winchester lever actions or no?  If yes, I believe you would need longer tang screws to reach the lower tang. If no, maybe you can use existing screws??  I bet Bert knows the answer, so hopefully he’ll set us straight shortly.

The screws are just fillers for the holes if no sight is mounted. But IDK if they are long enough as is with the sight on.

They are .150, but I just remembered they are just plug fillers, no head. I would assume another screw is needed.
