Time again to re-remind our august trusting membership of SCAM pitfalls with danger signs:
1. Guest or “fake member” has just the item you advertised for as WTB. (With picture).
2. Respondent has a “friend” who has the exact item, and sends a picture along with accomplice name and email contact.
3. Payment requested by PayPal, Venmo, BITCOIN.
4. Ask questions and offer to send a check, be attentive to answers. If a negative or obvious scam, turn his info over to Bert.
5. ANY scam attempt should be sent to Bert, as a protection and SCAM deterrent for our membership. Send/FWD emails to Bert!
CAVEAT EMPTOR-Buyer and seller BEWARE! Crooks are out there.
