Bauer Auction of Mattoon, Il at the end of November will have a gun auction and will sell my Winchester Model 65 32WCF rifle in excellent ( 1004490) at no reserve from me, I am unable to provide photos but a week before auction they will show photos, supposedly first year of manufacture…will also sell my Winchester 62A .22 in excellent (1950) serial # 269983 with whatever reserve the auction house decides….will be interesting to see what they sell for….must be some 32wcf model 65’s out there as nice as this one but can only be so many…..I gave my model 65 218bee to my brother …I collected many things winchester from fishing lures to tools and guns……fun while it lasted….watch the auction if you wish

Winchester Model 65 s/n 1004490 is definitely not a “first” year of manufacture rifle. To be precise, it was manufactured in the 7th year of manufacture (1939).
Winchester Model 62A s/n/ 269983 was manufactured in July 1949.
