Just picked up a pretty nice and early Model 95 in 30 US. The butt stock has been sawed off to accommodate a padded butt plate. Yeah, really. So, I’m looking for an original butt stock with steel butt plate. I realize it’s hard to find one without a rifle attached. But, thought I’d try

The original butt plates are plentiful and easily found on Ebay and gunbroker. Winchester used the same crescent butt plate on 1885’s 1890’s, 92’s, 94’s, 95’s.
I believe your chances of finding an original 95 stock are truly slim-nil. Your best option is going to be a semi inlet and someone who knows how to properly fit and finish it.
