I have three at this time. One is marked Lyman on the bottom, no other letters. The other two are unmarked… can’t be certain if it’s the exact one you need. There are 16 variations (maybe more). They are all 3/8″ dovetails, so they will fit. The two that are taller are often found on center fire rifles… the shorter one is found on rimfire rifles. Price wise: The best condition (like new) tall #6 is $160. The lesser condtion tall #6 is $135. The shorter #6 is $145. Shipping is $5 for one or all…

That amazes me! No indication in the catalog that different heights could be ordered. And the bases don’t appear to be marked differently to distinguish them, so I wonder how Lyman kept track of them.

It’s something that I never could find a concrete answer too… there are lots of opinions. I’ve had different heights (for either blades) & different leaf types. tall, short, round clover, flat, angled & more…

As an auxiliary sight for close range shots, I’d guess the different heights & shapes made little practical diff.
Does the lesser condition tall #6 (left one) have the “LYMAN’S” stamp on the back side of the folding leaf with the triangle? I believe the shape of the sides of that leaf is the closest to the vintage of my rifle.
I am interested in purchasing your lesser condition tall #6 (the one with the more rectangular-shaped leaf with the triangle). It’s the one that’s on the left side of your three photos. How do I go about contacting you regarding payment and shipping?
