from research I have done I get between 1940 and 1941
Any ideas on more accurate dates?
I cant seem to add pics sorry

The “G” prefix on the serial number positively identifies it as a post-1968 production rifle. The “G” prefix was added when the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968 was enacted into law (November 1968).
