Hello all. A little off the norm however, have a family member looking for a nice overall condition 88 in .308 to actually be used for hunting yet still be around 70-80% condition.
Has not found anything to date listed on the various gun sites. Nothing like Dana’s recent 88 which was exceptional and collector quality!

Not a lot of help in your quest, but thought I’d share this. My hunting partner uses exactly what you are looking for, works great. Shoots sierra 165gr HP, 2500fps. Best deal on used rifle I ever got, bought a model 88 in 284 Win from ex girl friends dad, bought new in 1966, had 33 rounds fired thru it when I bought it. Had 5 boxes ammo, all spent cases, scabbard, cleaning kit and 4X cross hair/ post scope on top. All for $100! If I see one I’ll let you know
