The Winchester box with the 20 loaded rounds of “W.R.A.CO. .45 – 90 W.C.F.” cartridges pictured below is Sold.

Those 22 empty cases and dummies pictured with it are still available for $30.00 plus actual shipping. These can go in the US mail.

Those 22 empty cases are 20 vintage fired cases: 11 – “REM-UMC 45 – 90”; 6 – “W.R.A.CO. .45 – 90 W.C.F.” and 3 – “PETERS .45 – 90” plus 2 “STARLINE * 45 – 90 * ” cases with no primer but bullet seated (Dummies?).  That single loaded round with the lead bullet is not included unless you want it shipped via UPS or Fed Ex Ground.

Please ask if you have any questions or want more pictures.

Bill I received the 45-90 box of patched bullets.  Everything is as you posted.  I started minor cleaning and repairing the box.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for your note.

I’m sure they (the ammo and the box) will look great when you’re done.

And Thank You very much.

I am not an expert at restoring boxes but one of my mentors was.  I will glue it up and stabilize the seams and clean some of the dirt off of it.  Professionals save old box parts and are experts with magic markers, an exacto knife and a photo copier.   I doubt you could tell I cleaned it but during the process you can see the difference between the uncleaned and cleaned areas.  Stains won’t come out but some dirt will.   I won’t touch the ammo.

Once my friend restored a box for a mutual friend.  He saved all of the old pieces of the box and label that he removed and replaced with new pieces.  He glued the old pieces to a piece of paper and gave them back when he delivered the box.  Amazing work.

Amazing work indeed.  Nice to have those skills or know someone who has.

Good stuff Chuck.
