FS Winchester Model 70 Book, "Model 70, 1937-1964" Dean Whitaker|Winchester Swap Meet|Forum|Winchester Collector

This was the original book written on Model 70’s. It was written by Dean Whitaker, and preceded Roger Rule’s book by one year. This book was published in 1981, and is signed by author in 2 different places. It is the “revised 1st edition” and is the scarcer of the two editions. This one has the lettering on cover and spine gilded in silver, where the 1st edition was a copper color. It is in excellent condition showing just a bit of flaking of silver gilding on the spine.
