Those primers appear spent, yet the two samples shown have bullets in them. Am I missing something? These cartridges are Live?

They are live, original rounds. I believe they are called 2 piece primers. Someone else probably knows more about them than I.
Thank you for the clarification. I’d not seen this type of primer prior to your sale.
‘Protected Primer’ is the term used by collectors. Winchester cataloged them as the ‘No. 5’ and ‘No. 5-1/2’ primers. The (New) No. 4, for shotshells, was also ‘protected’.
