If your a purists then this rifle may not be the one for you!  That being said,  this rifle is really a special custom made jewel that does not “Letter”.  All the custom features were done outside of the factory, but by a true craftsman around the turn of the century as best as experts that have examined it have determined.  All the metal parts have been nickle plated and engraved in the Winchester #1 Pattern and the deluxe burl 3x wood is checkered. It has a 17″ 1/2 octagon 25/35 cal. bbl. w/ a full mag.  It has always been the center point of my collection and my favorite.  s/n 145358  – $5,000.00 – (whoops -5K not 15K) – Look over the pics and ask any questions.
