This is an early production 1886 Rifle stock with the curved toe butt plate and a sling swivel. The stock has been Factory inletted for a trap-door butt plate and a cleaning rod, but came with the solid plate installed. I can find no signs of refinishing or sanding, the stock appears to be in original factory condition.
