Serial 2143 (Manufactured 1863)

Rock Island Auction placed an estimate at 60-90K recently.  I set the reserve at 60K and it was bid to just under the number which would have then added 18% buyers premium plus sales tax to the sell. 

This is a great deal for someone in the market for a Great Henry Rifle. 

I need to obtain 55K to simply retrieve the money I put in the rifle years ago. 

Only selling due to a recent upgrade at 88K.

Prefer to save a collector some money on the rifle before putting back thru the auction again in the future. 

I’ve been a Winchester collector and fan for 40 years.
