Paul,

The Short rifle on Proxibid appears to have a 20-inch barrel with the long forend stock… is that how you see it?

That is what I came up with not only from appearance but using a ratio of the receiver length to the forearm length. I think I have maybe 5 or 6 20" rifles in my data that have the full size forearm.

In your research, how common are the short rifles in 38-55? Is there a large premium on this rifle for caliber? It appears that way to me.
