 I am a dealer in Tallahassee Florida and have come across a 1961 Winchester model 70 in 300 H&H Bull barrel – packed in a wood crate with all paperwork, in the original paper wrap and cosmiline – unfired and new.

 

Anyone have a estimate as to value?

The original owner posted here in early Jan. to determine if there was any interest in the rifle, my understanding is that the asking price was $6,000.00.

Yes, it sold for that as part of a 3 gun deal, with a 375 super grade and a 338 super grade, both mint. That seems a little low for market on that rare of a find, I have seen bulls go for 6 k used. Any insight?

A .338 SG? That is much rarer than that NIC Bullgun if supporting provenance accompanied the .338….
