Anyone have insight on availability of correct aperture for the Winchester 98 peep sight? Any recommendations for source, either vintage correct or new? Thanks.

The receiving hole for the peep has the same thread as Lyman apertures. It seems that no two of my 98 apertures have exactly the same dimensions. It’s a good possibility they were changed to suit the shooter. I just went with what ‘looked correct’ and how the rear sight picture outlined the front sight picture. I am sure others will have a better answer, but this might offer a little help.
