If the base is curved below the bead, I’d say #37, if not, a 3 or 28, though there are several others that are similar; main diff is size of bead. May have a # on bottom. Odd sight to be on a 52, if that’s what the gun is.
Hi Clarence, it is a 1894 made in 1902.. I think it’s a #3 after some web search.. thanks for your reply and input.
