TK Lee and  his Company were based in Birmingham,AL. for many decades.

It appears that his company was taken over by a son and/or a son-in-law. However the phone number and web site are now defunkt.

TK Lee was an exemplary good shot with rifle, pistol, and shotgun–winning many trophies at events throughout the US. His fine Lee Dot reticle was used by Lyman and Bausch and Lomb on their scopes. Interestingly, the Lee dots were suspended using fine filaments from black widow spiders, which spin very tough web filaments. Lee raised these spiders for his reticle cross hairs.  I have owned Lyman Alaskan and other B&L  scopes that were fitted with Lee dots utilizing his system. If it has now closed, his early reticles will be missed.

Now that is interesting.  I’ve never heard the likes of it before.
