A friend has a nice early 92 src that has shinny metal except the barrel that has almost perfect dark blue and a “ramp” front sight. It is all correct including the rear sight. I believe it was rebarreled  by Winchester because it has “P” (in a circle) stamped behind the VP proof mark on the barrel.

I would appreciate any input on this ….. Does it devalue it or increase the value ?  It sure looks odd !!

Thanks Mike

Mike,

The “P” in a circle indicates that it is a mail order barrel, not installed by Winchester.
