Off topic: Unusual peep sight on Ranger .22|Winchester Sights|Forum|Winchester Collector

In order for some one to help you out here, you’re probably gonna have to post some pictures. Even though those we’re made in the  early 1930’s for a couple years, I vaguely remember the sight, as being similar to a Red field, or Lyman, style receiver mounted peep sight. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t either of them, if memory serves me right. Have you tried posting on a Marlin forum?
