Included in a lot of parts I picked up an 1894 from 1895 was this rear sight. I’m hoping someone can help me identify it. Based on the screw hole near the mount, it looks like a ladder sight where the ladder has broken off. I can’t for the life of me visualize where it broke thought. The only apparent break I see is on the rear left side below the folding leaf.

That is a broken carbine sporting leaf sight missing the flip up staff.

I do not know what Winchester called it.  Form what I can see, it is simply scrap steel at this point.
