Looking for information on this front sight insert.  Two screws on the front of this sight hold the inserts in.  Sight manufacturer, replacements available?

Hi Edward,

It sounds as if you are describing the Stevens #25 front sight which came standard on the Stevens 416 rifle.

They look like the photo below.

Unfortunately, due to the uniqueness of the insert there are no aftermarket inserts available but originals come up for sale on eBay occasionally.
