I just received info back from Cody for an 1892 Deluxe. For the ‘sight’ info, it just said “Coarse notch in rear sight”. I’m wondering what that might mean? This 92 actually has a beautiful Beech front sight, a Lyman rear barrel sight that looks similar to a No. 6 (pictured) and a Lyman folding peep on the upper tang

Well, “coarse” certainly describes the notch in a #6; maybe whoever was recording this info was unaware of its proper name, and too careless to find out.
