Is anyone familiar with the Beringer rear sights? They had several folding leaves I believe. I remember that there was an 86 that belonged to a member here that had one. If anyone can show a couple good pictures of one, or has knowledge of them it would be helpful as I am trying to verify if one I am looking at is a beringer. thanks

Tom – you have it spelled wrong – go to the “search” function and type “Barringer sight” – you will find what you are looking for.

Tom – you have it spelled wrong – go to the “search” function and type “Barringer sight” – you will find what you are looking for.
Burt I did as you suggested. So far I have read 25 of the 108 pages of old posts and found nothing but the word “sight”. I am not sure how to make the search tool work I guess, any other suggestions?

Select the “Advanced Search” option, then type “Barringer” in the search window box, then select the “All forums” and “Match any word”, and “Posts and topic titles”.

Thanks to both of you. I can always learn.
So for the record I now know that the sight I found IS NOT a Barringer( oh poo) but a seven leaf Winchester. So now that i know what it is I have to reason it is NOT compatible with the 1886 and is really found on 73’s and 76’s?
