A Winchester B4 scope, nice example. Not many survive due to thin brass tube.

They are steel tube. All A and B scopes are steel.
My bad. Always read that winchester scopes were dropped because they were expensive to make and rare because they were damaged easy. I knew they started out brass….. Love to learn something every day.

I guess he didn’t make it to the Cody show or wasn’t able to sell it there. Never seen one of these, is he in the right ballpark price wise?
A week after the Cody show I sent the seller a question through the Gunbroker site asking if the scope was still available or if he’d found a “non computer user” collector at the Cody show to buy it for $1000. Never got a response but quit following the item because seller avoids addressing the real condition of the optics such as are they clear and undamaged and if the reticle adjusts correctly. The fact that someone else used it in the past seem a devious assertion that it still is in good condition.
