Does anyone have info on all the 3 Leaf applications & letter designations. What model with what 3 Leaf(85/86/94) etc. I’ve seen them with a 2 on the 3rd leaf, some with a 3, some with a C or an S(Savage ?) some with nothing. Be nice to know when looking for the period & application correct 3 Leaf.

You’ve seen a lot more of them than I have, but I think those differences would only apply if the sight was ordered for a specific rifle. Catalog description makes no reference to there being a choice in markings, but maybe a customer could write to say he wanted one for a specific rifle adjusted to 300 yds. But if the sight is not listed in the factory ledger for a particular rifle, I doubt that it matters.

Yes that’s a fair statement Clarence but, if you’re trying to keep the rifle period correct or the same as what would’ve come on it from Winchester for the model & year, it would be nice to know with so many variations what 3 Leaf. Most might not care… but I do!! ?
