How much would a Spanish metre sight for a 1876 s.r.c. set a fella back

Henry, I don’t know as I’ve never seen one for sale.  Must be tough to find off an NWMP carbine.

My 2 cents….  a nice standard Carbine ladder sight is bringing $350 -$400. these days.  I’ve owned one “metre” marked carbine sight in 40 years… it was on a French service 94… I was offered $450. for the sight if I would was willing to sell it separate, but that wasn’t going to happen.  I sold that rifle to Hayes in Montana…  Good luck in your search.

Henry,

This is a reproduction, so not what you want but might serve as a placeholder.

That is pretty cheap really! I know it will never be an original and it is obvious when you look closely at it, but I would expect them to cost a bit more than $29 USD! Shame they don’t post to Aus
