Need some help guys. After trying to find more info on the SX1 pigeon guns.
I did find at one time not to long ago mine had a letter with it. I would desperately like to track it down and put it back with the box. Serial number is SXP0031. Any help would be great.
Next I’m going thru all my catalogs I do not find where Winchester offers the SX1 in pigeon or super pigeon. If you have any advertising on it please let me know. Just trying to put a nice display together.

I have not seen an SX-1 Pigeon or super Pigeon ever. I’ve a fancy SX-1 Ducks Unlimited from 1976, no pigeon but nicer wood, fancy checkering, and a DU brass oval on the receiver. Pretty much an SX-1 XTR, but with the DU logo. Have not seen pigeons ever that I can recall.
Matt; Touch base with Pauline Murrell she was a Winchester factory engraver, seems I have seen her post here. She has a site, Google her up, I’d bet she can help on that lovely SX1 of yours. The engraving looks like a factory pattern, Pauline has data no one else has, custom shop and engraving especially. If I owned that SX-1, I’d be knocking on her door, virtually. Mine is not near as special, that’s a lovely gun and IMO the best semi auto target gun ever built.
