Hello! I am considering purchasing a model 97 with a 28 inch barrel, serial number 804483. (E series) I’ve seen conflicting info as to the manufacture date, so would like some guidance there as well as an approximate value. What other questions should I ask the seller? Thank you!

OfflineHello Jill,
The correct date of manufacture for S/N 804483 is October, 1925. Which choke constriction does it have (e.g. Full, Mod, or Cyl) ? What is the graded condition of the gun? Does it still have its factory original hard rubber butt plate? Is it a standard (Field) grade gun, or something else?
