I have a model 42  up for sale , i bought a collection of 30, rifles from a life long collector of Winchesters. this was the cream of the crop. dating 1936. i have felt it was worth a case , and labile. have had it displayed at one gun show up here in the woods in salmon arm b/c Canada , all the dealers checked it out and top offer of 15,000.00 as it is 1936 , unfired, and pictures tell the story. i have the book on model -42s and from what i see displayed , better then most pictured.
