Hello, I recently picked up my first model 12 I really didn’t know much about them but this was just too beautiful of a gun to pass up. Afterwards I started doing some research trying to learn more about it and saw a lot of questions on originality of different model 12’s and started wondering how to go about figuring out if mine is original?
I was able to look up the SN to confirm that it was made in 1959, it is 12 gauge with a 30″ full choke barrel and is Pigeon grade. a friend of mine said it appears to be trap spec. due to the stock and long barrel but it doesn’t say trap anywhere on the gun.
