Just wondering how common a solid rib on a Model 12 HDG is?First one I have ever seen ,I saw yesterday.All the other Model 12 HDG’S I have seen ,were all plain barrels.

Just like the standard Field grade guns, Solid Ribs and Vent Ribs were offered on the Heavy Duck Guns. While I do not have any information on “how many”, my estimate (guess) would be that the percentage was small and similar to the Field grade guns.
