Hello everyone, I have this model 1912 that came across my desk. The word “FINLEY” is stamped on both sides and underside of the receiver. The shotgun is dated back to 1914 does anyone know if there is any significance to the word Finley. This shotgun was evidently used as a police gun back in the day.

Might be the name of the town, but never saw a police issue with a recoil pad.
