Winchester 1897 Shotgun - Nickled|Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

I came across a Nickled Winchester 1897 serial number 415171, with a 20in CYL barrel. Below the serial number is LP with the number 86 underneath.

Since it is nickle, I am assuming it was a parade shotgun. But I am just guessing. I have no idea what the LP/86 stands for. 

Anybody have further information?
