OfflineI saw that most 1897 Trap Guns came with a hard black rubber buttplate, and some with a solid red rubber buttplate (probably special order).
How can one know what was originally there, if the buttplate is missing? 1907 mfg. Probably LOP/length of wood, I’d guess. What were the standard dimensions?
