Model 20 .410|Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

I picked up a neat  Model 20 .410 but it has a replacement butt pad on it. I don’t think the original configuration had the red rubber pad on it. How do I measure the pull ( ? ) stock to see if the stock was cut ? I’m hoping it was not, but then a search begins for an original but plate.

Any help appreciated.
