Just got this today and I am looking to ID the brass screw that is in the receiver. I am trying to locate a correct replacement.

Damon,

It is the left side Cartridge Stop Screw.  There should be another one on the opposite side of the receiver frame.

What is the serial number on your “C” series Model 1897?

Bert
