Hi everyone, I haven’t been on in a long time but I received 2 amazing shotguns and was wondering if there was interest. Both are model 1887 12 gauges, a 27 inch barrel made in 1888, and a 30 inch barrel made in 1891. Both are complete and numbers matching survivors, and I would fire them both. I am in Pennsylvania and not good at posting photos, but if there is any interest my name is Greg and I can be reached at 724-914-8264. I can send photos over the phone. Thanks. I hope this is allowed, if not I apologize but I want these guns to go someone that will respect and care for them.

I’m sure there would be some interest but without pictures we can not make any decisions. Are you sure the barrel is 27″? Can you send the photos to your computer then attach them here?
Thanks for the replies and info. I just wanted to see if there was interest which I’m guessing there must not be at this time. That’s not a problem this isn’t a hurting for money situation I just thought a collector may have needed one to round out their collection. As I said not good with photos, these are numbers matching unmolested shooters, 500. Wouldn’t even warrant discussion. Thanks anyway.

I don’t know why others haven’t chimed in? The $500 figure was just a number I threw out there. But the part about the pictures is true. The early gun with a 27″ barrel would be a nice one to have if the purchaser could get a better look at it. Nice guns will bring at least $1,000. Fancy guns with with options can exceed $5,000 or more. Take your guns out in the shade. Use a plain backdrop. Make sure they are in focus. Show closeups of each area. A smart phone or a digital camera will work fine. With the cameras we have today if you don’t like the picture delete it and take another. The practice will do you good.
