I have a 1920 Model 12 in a 12 gauge (sn: 246554) plain stock (rubber pad), plain wood slide, vented rib, modified with a Herters variable choke (so I’m not sure of the barrel length).  Can anyone give me an approximate value?  I’ve seen prices all over the place from $350-$3,500, so don’t have a clue what to believe.

Rick,

It is very unlikely that the Vent Rib is factory original, and the Herters variable choke is definitely aftermarket. accordingly, the value is much closer to the $350 mark.

Thanks, Bert.  That was my thought.  Probably a complete barrel since there are no numbers on the barrel that should correspond to those on the receiver in it was original.  Thanks for your time.  Rick
