hello,first official post! I was looking for some direction as to a model 12 trap(stamped) gun I have come across. It is a thirties gun, all original, 90+ percent, Winchester milled vent rib with offset proofmark,correct butt plate. Price seems very fair. The question isn’t if I want it, it’s a beautiful gun. I am simply wondering from a collectability standpoint if anyone can place the trap gun, in front of or behind the skeet or pigeon- or if it’s simply preference. Thanks to anyone who reads this and thanks for any comments in advance

Bill,
I believe that most would place the Pigeon grade gun above a Trap or Skeet grade gun. The Trap and Skeet grade guns are equal.

Thanks Bert, I had a feeling pigeon was the top dog.would you be the same Bert that I recently participated in an 1892 survey?
either way I appreciate the input, I really don’t need many reasons to buy a Winchester, sometime I just like to check my thought process
