OfflineThe barrel lettering on this shotgun appears to be too close to the takedown ring (photo 5), but i am not an expert. Is the breech portion of the barrel shortened? Proof marks are either absent or under the rib. Any comments would be appreciated. It is a nice looking shotgun, but does not look correct to me.

OfflineRefinished, both steel and wood. The butt stock is undersized to the receiver frame, and it has a visible crack (on the left side of the wrist). The Cutts Compensator appears to be original, but the Vent Rib was added aftermarket. I do not see the Winchester Proof marks on the receiver or the barrel.
